Amazon Mayday

Recently, the internet was abuzz with Amazon Kindle’s Mayday feature. The Kindle Fire HDX’s Mayday is a single button call to Amazon’s support. This service enables users to connect to a remote technical support representative to solve issues with their tablets. When a Mayday session is in progress, the Kindle’s front facing camera is turned off. This puts the user in a one-way video chat, where the support executive cannot see the user.
